First Craft show
I did a craft show in Rigby, it was small so not too much business which was okay for my first show! I'm prepared now for another. My booth turned out pretty good. Let me know what you think about it I would love some feedback!
I have my Paci-Catchers in 3 stores now!
Here's hoping I stay really buy!
The Haircut
Logan got a haircut! It was getting really long and I wasn't up for attempting a trim with his attention span so we buzzed it. And it's short thats for sure! It will grow back right?!

Trip to Spokane...
Here we are in Spokane visiting Jessica, Westin, Carter and Heidi!
Brooklynn trying to get Heidi to look at the camera!
Brooklynn my little Princess!
We almost have all the cousins together! Notice the serious drool on Boston's shirt, he was teething!
Zac being the awesome Uncle that he is! Also very afraid of being spit-up on!
Nothing more fun than the play place at the mall, a reward after all that shopping!
Fun at home!
We like to get creative when it comes to time-outs!
The Plank, Logan could hold this one for a long time!

The Power of Dawn
I have decided this dish soap is my new favorite cleaner!
I fell in love with Dawn dish soap when I was pregnant and had nothing left to wear that wasn't splattered with grease on the front or grease smeared on the leg from kids dirty fingers.
I googled, yes I googled and low and behold DAWN! It now sits on my dryer and is used frequently to remove all grease spots from my clothing, it's a miracle I tell ya, a miracle!
Here are a few other uses I found that might shock and amaze you...
* Cleaning oil spots in the garage or on the driveway
* Cutting grease from the range hood
* Hand-washing delicates
* Saving aquatic animals that we're in oil spills
* Use as a flea shampoo for pets, lather it on really good
* Mix with water and spray on counters, floors, outside to get rid on ants (no chemicals)
* Soak finger nails in a Dawn/water solution to soften cuticles and remove oils to prep nails for nail polish (professional manicurist do this)
* Stripping hair of shampoo buildup (once a month)
* Makes great homemade bubbles for kids
* Pour into plastic baggy and freeze, use as an ice-pack (stays cold longer and is pliable) Reusable too
* Soak greasy tools so they look new again
* Removes grease stains from mechanics hands
* Removes kids fingerprints from walls
* Removes vaseline from hair (hopefully I never have to try this:)
* Removes soot from hands
Oh and of course, It does a great job cleaning your dishes!!!
And it's cheap, I buy it for $1 at Wal Mart, just get the original!
Give it a try!
Tell me all the different things you use your new favorite all-purpose cleaner for, I would love to hear!

What I do...
Aren't these just too cute?!
I saw a woman at the fabric store (my favorite place to hang out) with a cover similar to this and went right home and made my own! I now sell them at Mommy N' Me in Rexburg and I also custom make them.
They keep the rain, snow, wind, sun, and peoples dirty little fingers off of your baby, and don't forget it protects your baby from getting coughed and sneezed on, ewe!
It' nice to never have to drape a blanket over my car seat anymore.
I make them with cotton on both sides or some (like the one I made for my baby) have Minky on one side and cotton on the other!
I always end up using mine for a blanket and I attach straps to all of my covers so they double as a nursing cover!
If you know anyone who you think just needs one of these, I'm always up for custom orders!
I love fabric so this is my way of getting to spend more time at the fabric store!
Support the fabric addict!

Adventures in Baby Food
Ever tasted that nasty baby rice cereal? Boston has and he makes the most awful faces, I don't blame him one bit!
Last night for dinner we had Roast, Potatoes and Carrots. I always cook my Potatoes and Carrots separately because I think cooking it all in the crock pot together taste kinda gross.
I sort of overcooked the Potatoes and Carrots and decided why not make some for Boston?!
So I got out my little food processor and put in the veggies with lots of water, turned it on and voila, Free baby food, perfect taste, perfect consistency!
And isn't the color just awesome?
Boston loved it, no twisted faces at all!
No more plain yucky Rice cereal for this little guy!

Spit-Up- It will be the end of me!
Every baby spits up right??? Mine spit up excessively from birth to 12 months. I probably wash a load a day of burp cloths, baby outfits, blankets and many items from my wardrobe.
I hate laundry.
If anyone knows how to get a child to stop or at least if anyone knows how to minimize spit-up please do tell!

Crazy Eyes
I'm not one of many talents, but I can shake my eyes and go cross eyed, even do just one cross eye. Apparently Brooklynn has inherited my Crazy Eye gene! A few days ago she looked at me with her eyes crossed and now it's her favorite trick! I sure hope they never stick, this girl cracks us up!

Brooklynn's 3rd Birthday
Brooklynn had her 3rd Birthday on April 26
(I know, very delayed blogging :)
She was so excited to be 3. Three year olds get to sleep in their beds all night and they gets treats if they don't come into Mommy and Daddy's bed! They get to help out with dishes and cooking and even fold laundry! Maybe it was Mommy that was most excited for 3! Brooklynn is acting so much more grown up since she turned three, it's like a light switch turned on or something. She is so helpful and polite and rarely needs discipline, she is even sleeping in her own bed all night long! she is such a good little three year old!

Her birthday gift from Mommy, Daddy and Logan! The slide has been a big hit!
We ate at Brooklynn's favorite restaurant, RED ROBIN!
The Red Robin was even there and everyone sang to her!

She got her very own ice cream treat!
And she shared!

Brooklynn absolutely loves cooking and baking with Mom!
We made mini cupcakes for her birthday and she got to lick everything!

She invited some friends over for a party!
We had a treasure hunt and planted flowers....
Then sang Happy Birthday and ate cupcakes....
Opened presents and now she's ready for another birthday!
I on the other hand don't mind waiting until next year!

Easter and other randomness
Easter weekend was spent in Washington with Papa Rick! All the 4 grandkids had so much fun dying eggs and playing with their Easter loot! Logan figured out how to open Sixlets and couldn't get enough of them!
They had way more eggs to find than necessary!

But they had oh so much fun!
Apparently the Easter bunny spoils! Brooklynn wore this ensemble for the next few days!

Dying Easter eggs!
