After working a straight 81 hours, Brooklynn was really missing her Daddy. Patrick got home after a few sleepless nights and busy days and took Brooklynn on her first fishing trip! She loved spending the one on one time with her Daddy. They went with her friend Corbin and Patrick's good buddy, Mike. After all he's the one with the boat and the fishing gear, thanks Mike! Before leaving the house she made sure she had her Life Jacket to "be safe" as she says. I was at home starting to wonder what happened to them, it was 11pm when they finally got home. They caught 2 Rainbow Trout and we ate them for dinner the next night, Brooklynn loved the fish. It was her first experience with death and she understood and accepted the idea that we we're eating 'Nemo'. Brooklynn had a blast, she loved the boat and spending time with her Daddy. She truly is a Daddy's Girl 100%!

Our Pretty Princess
If I ask Brooklynn what she wants to wear, she will always say 'A Dress'. She loves her dresses! She likes the fact that she can put them on all by herself. She even wants to wear them to bed. Everytime she puts a dress on she has to twirl and sway back and forth. It's so cute, she is such a pretty little girl and she has so much character. She loves the Disney Princesses, and has to sleep with her Cinderella book. I tried on my wedding dress a few weeks ago and now she keeps asking me to wear my Princess dress. She also loves to wear pretty bows. I have recently learned how to make them and have found it to be very fun. I'm glad I have my little girl and even more glad that she finally has hair to wear pretty bows in! And everytime she puts on this particular dress she always says "thank you Grandma Arvi", it's one of her very favorites!

Logan is 6 months!
Logan is 6 months already. He is such a fun little boy, usually very happy and content. Always smily and giggly. He has almost mastered sitting up. On the other hand his spitting-up is still a work in progress. He loves pancakes, it is fun watching him try to pick up the little pieces unsuccessfully. Yesterday he ate half a frozen Eggo waffle, he downed it pretty quick. He is drinking out of a sippy cup and is always wanting to share my water with me from the big cup. He loves his food and gets so excited when he sees it. He enjoys watching Brooklynn, he likes to pull her hair and is always sliming her. He loves his big sister. She takes very good care of him, getting him toys, singing to him and she is always quick to find him his pacifier when he's fussy! Two kids has been a very big adjustment, but it has been oh so worth it, Logan has been such a joy in our family from the very first moment we laid eyes on him! We love him so much!
Future Photographer...

Brooklynn has figured out how to use the camera. She no longer likes to pretend it is on, she wants it on... or else! She is 2, need we say more! She is actually pretty good, these are just a few of her finest. Thank goodness for digital cameras, she only took about 40 pictures in a matter of a few minutes. She always says "Click, take a pic" and we all know where she got that from!

Brooklynn Makes Lunch!
Yesterday Brooklynn had one of her best days ever. She finger-painted, sang songs, used the potty successfully all day, helped clean up her toys for once, made Pizza for lunch and Hot Fudge Sundae Cake for dessert after dinner. All with a big smile on her face! She was so happy all day and such a joy to be with!

She loved painting the sauce on the crust (tortilla)!

And, Yes she does like mushrooms!

Her favorite, the cheese. Not all of it ended up on the pizza :)

Yay, she did it! (thanks once again, Dora)
